We’ll cover the unique aspects of the Federal application process that are critical to applicant success by translating Federal policy into plain-language guidance.Â

We’ll explain each section of the job opportunity announcement (JOA) to help you in assisting students in selecting jobs. Attendees will be shown a real JOA and walked through to determine qualifications and interest, identifying the important requirements and then tailoring their resumes.

Finding and Applying for Jobs on USAJOBS:Â
This train-the-trainer program provides insight into the main online Federal jobs portal, USAJOBS.gov.   You’ll learn to advise your students on how to search for Federal jobs and maximize results; apply for Federal Jobs, and manage a USAJOBS account.Â
