Father's Day Celebration at The Terrace Room in Oakland
On Father's Day, Sunday, June 18, The Terrace Room in Oakland will be serving from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM an a la carte brunch with specials each inspired by a specific generation of dad. These will include the Millennial Dad - smoky brisket, sweet potato hash and a sunny side up egg/recommended drink: Old Fashioned; Generation X Dad - ham, English pea purée, orange oil, scalloped potatoes and sauce Hussarde/recommend drink: Buffalo Trace neat; Baby Boomer Dad - 1/2 lb. Niman Ranch burger with Romesco sauce, Manchego, herbs, a frica bun, papas bravas and pimento aioli/recommended drink: Godfather; Silent Generation Dad - shrimp toast sandwich, hoisin sauce, herbs, Sriracha mayo and sweet chili chips/recommended drink: Whisky Sour; and the Greatest Generation Dad - slow cooked prime rib, creamed spinach, Yorkshire pudding and horseradish/recommended drink: Manhattan. These specials are priced at a $16.00 each and the recommended cocktails at $9.00 but when purchased together the total is $21.00. The Prime Rib is $16.00 for an 8 oz. portion with the option of $4.00 per additional 4 oz. upgrades to 12 oz. and 16 oz. portions. There will also be a bottomless Bloody Mary bar for $17.00. All prices exclude tax and gratuity.
