The Farm To Fork SF Pop-Up Dinner Series

We’re connecting the Bay Area’s most passionate farm to table chefs with food lovers for a series of one-of-a-kind dining events. At our communal pop-up dinners, you’ll not only enjoy a world class meal, but also gain a true understanding of the journey each ingredient on your plate took to get from its source to your fork. At our intimate seatings, you’ll have the chance to speak with the chef and view the making of your meal on our immersive projection screen, making for a fully connected dining experience.

Join us on Saturday, August 20 for an authentic taste of traditional Roman cuisine from Chef Mattia Marcelli, one of the Bay Area's best young chefs. Chef Marcelli will take a break from his current job as the Executive Chef at San Francisco's 54 Mint to serve up a 5-course Roman meal and wine pairing featuring his signature handmade pasta as well as locally sourced fish, meat, and heirloom vegetables. About Chef Mattia Marcelli

Growing up in Rome, Chef Marcelli developed a passion for food at a young age, learning traditional Roman recipes and techniques from the women in his family. He entered culinary school at the age of 13 and moved to New York soon after graduation to work at Aurora, one of the city's best Italian restaurants. After his stint there, Chef Marcelli made a brief return to Italy before moving back to the states to serve at the Executive Chef at 54 Mint, where he now serves his take on seasonally-inspired traditional Roman fare using only the freshest, locally-sourced sustainable ingredients.
