W San Francisco is celebrating AAPI Month with proud Asian American and celebrity Chef Kathy Fang, star of the Food Network Docuseries "Chef Dynasty: House of Fang." Taking place in the hotel's electric Living Room Bar, the happy hour event will feature specially curated Asian-inspired dishes by Chef Fang and W San Francisco's executive chef Dawn Taylor-Cole, guest appearances by cast members of "Chef Dynasty: House of Fang, an exclusive cocktail and mocktail menu, and lively beats by DJ Works. Monetary donations will be collected that evening and donated to Chinese Historical Society of America.
Infusing delicious savory, rich and herbaceous flavors into a variety of dishes, the exclusive menu for the evening will feature Asian spins on some of W San Francisco's popular dishes, including:
o Golden Burrata - tangerines, tomato, kumquat jam, and Thai basil, served with grilled rustic bread drizzled in olive oil, and sea salt
o Phoenix Dumplings - shrimp, scallop, and scallion filled dumplings, served with a creamed corn sauce, charred chili scallion oil, and cilantro flowers
o Korean Rib Eye Lettuce Wraps - seared ribeye skewers marinated in gochujang, honey, garlic, toasted sesame, and onion, served with butter lettuce, and tangy spicy pickled root vegetables
o Crispy Chicken Nanban Bites - chicken tenders with Nanban sauce drizzle, served with tartare sauce
o Pizza A la Soju - pizza with soju tomato cream sauce, mushrooms, onions, squash, and corn
