Celebrate the glory and gift of food with a special day connecting with where our food comes from at Slide Ranch. Together we will prepare and enjoy a farm-to-table lunch including Slide Ranch turkey, cranberry-rhubarb sauce, cornbread made with cornmeal we grind ourselves, garden greens, and winter squash pie. We will also explore the food traditions of Native California in honor of the indigenous Coast Miwok people. In addition to harvesting, cooking and feasting, we will milk our goats, visit the chickens, ducks and turkeys and hike spectacular coastal trails.
