Fall In A Glass: A Tasty Collaboration Between Bourbon and Apple Brandy
WHAT:  Krista Kemple of Copper & Kings and Lara McGowan of Bardstown Bourbon Co. invite you to a special tasting and class with  autumn in a glass! Kemple will discuss Copper & Kings’ modern approach to the ancient spirit of apple brandy, as well as the creative process with McGowan and Bardstown Bourbon Co. to produce their exciting new expression - a straight Kentucky bourbon aged in apple brandy barrels, in tune with the BBC’s mission to make contemporary and collaborative 21st century whiskey. Each tasting will pair with holiday-themed small bites and includes a special cocktail. Campfire, however, is not included. 
WHEN: November 6, 2019, 8pm-10pm (Come to the bar early, have a beer and relax until we start. You will be called in when we are ready.)

ABOUT Lara McGowan
Lara McGowan developed a love affair with bourbon in 2008. In 2010 the Kentucky Distillers Association asked her to create a bourbon and food pairing experience for their annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Over the past 10 years Lara managed whiskey portfolios for Conecuh Brands, 375 Park Avenue Spirits, and Sazerac before joining Bardstown Bourbon Company as California Sales Manager. In her spare time, Lara manages her bourbon blog Angel’s Share Magazine, and hosts bourbon education seminars for numerous whisky clubs and societies throughout California.

yes, you must be 21 or older
 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
16th Street BART Station, walk 2 blocks WEST from there on 16th.
#22 Bus
street parking is tough on Thursdays. There's a garage on Huff St.
 
What can I bring into the event?
Drinks purchased at the bar. Food can be ordered in (try Caviar.com) and eaten in the bar, but please don't bring dinner into the session.
