You are invited to the first Eye to Eye-Bay Area Think Different Event on March 4th! This is an exciting opportunity for students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD and their parents!
Student Programing: Eye to Eye Art Room
The Eye to Eye mentoring program is offered exclusively to 4th-8th-grade students with language and math based learning disabilities (LD) and/or ADHD. During this daytime session, your child will work with a successful college student that also has an LD and/or ADHD. Our best Eye to Eye mentors from the University of San Francisco, UC - Berkeley, and the University of Nevada - Reno will be there to facilitate activities. This session will be two fun-filled hours of games and art projects. Your child will become part of our community of different thinkers, and the mentors will use the Eye to Eye art curriculum to inspire your child by facilitating conversations about metacognition, accommodations, and self-advocacy.
Parent Programing:
This two-hour session will include presentations from Eye to Eye Diplomat, Riley Evans, Accommodations Specialist, Tom Merrel and Eye to Eye National Program Coordinator, Stephanie Whitham. During this day you will learn from our experts about supporting children with learning differences, inspiring these children, and accommodations that will enable them to succeed!
**One ticket required per adult only
