On Tuesday, October 22nd, from 6-8pm, Culintro (www.culintro.com) will host a panel discussion focused on Restaurant Expansion at Public Works (161 Erie Street, San Francisco, CA).

Three nationally renowned chefs and restaurateurs will speak about expanding their concepts to new markets. The discussion will provide firsthand insight into the benefits and challenges of restaurant expansion from operators who have navigated the process successfully. The speakers include Thomas McNaughton (Central Kitchen, Flour & Water), Patric Yumul (The Mina Group) and Frank Klein (Asian Box). The conversation will be moderated by Riley Lagesen, Partner and Chair, National Restaurant Industry Practice Group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP

Patric Yumul is the President of the Michael Mina Group. The Michael Mina Group owns and operates 17 restaurants nationwide, including 4 in San Francisco. Thomas McNaughton is the Executive Chef of, Ne Timeas Restaurant Group. The James Beard Foundation nominated Thomas for Rising Star Chef in 2011, 2012 and again in 2013, and flour + water was nominated as Best New Restaurant in 2010. Frank Klein is the CEO and Founder of Asian Box. After owning several successful restaurants and nightclubs FK Restaurants & Hospitality was established as a full service restaurant consulting firm specializing in strategic, financial, and creative services for the food service industry. A myriad of clients include fine dining facilities, creative cafeteria and foodservice for high-end corporations and universities, and fast-casual chain concepts.
