Exclusive Barrel Blending Seminar at Griffo Distillery

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join Dr Inkwell and Griffo Distillery for an exclusive tour, tasting of several spirits aging in their barrel house, and a seminar about the blending barrel flavors. At this private event, you will meet Founder and Master Distiller Michael Griffo as he walks us through what makes Stony Point Whiskey what it is today: remarkable.

Upon arrival, we'll meet Thomas Painter, our host and Tasting Room Manager. He'll tell us about how Griffo began, show us the stills and equipment, and explain how they make their spirits from grain to glass. Then Michael Griffo will take us through the barrels, stopping to taste a few along the way while he explains how he chooses and decides when barrels have done their work aging in French and American oak. After our time with Michael, Dr Inkwell and Thomas will close with a tasting of spirits from the Griffo line, which include the final version of Stony Point (a corn and rye spirit), Stout Barreled Whiskey (aged in Lagunitas Stout barrels), Belgian Hen (a belgian style beer turned into whiskey), White Whiskey (aged for 48 hours), Scott Street Gin (a London Dry style), Barreled Gin, 100% housemade Corn Vodka, and their award-winning Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur.

Your ticket gets you:
o A welcome drink featuring Griffo whiskey
o An exclusive guided tour of the Petaluma distillery, with explainer-video-turned-human Dr Inkwell
o A tasting directly from aging barrels in French and American oak
o Light snacks
o A tasting of four of the Griffo line of eight spirits (or share with a friend and taste all eight!)
o A small gift bag to remember your experience
o Griffo is also extending a 15% discount any 2+ bottles purchased while we're visiting

This event is perfect for craft spirits lovers, local explorers, as a special event, a gift, a date, or simply for those who want to learn more. Book now to secure your place!

Please arrive at 145pm, and look for Dr Inkwell in his lab coat. You must be 21+ to join the tour.

Minivan shuttle tickets available, leaving from San Francisco at 12pm.
