Eth-Noh-Tec's Oshogatsu Community Potluck Feast"
Oshogatsu is the traditional Japanese welcome for the new year, a chance to see family and friends old and new. Eth-Noh-Tec, a kinetic storytelling theater company based in SF, invites you to this whirlwind of delights for the pallette and your artful eyes and ears. With your help, the potluck dish you bring will add to the plethora of delicacies offered by artists, educators, cultural advocates and activists.
This coming Year of Dog will be even more challenging with slashes against peoples basic services, attacks on immigrants and our diverse communities, onslaughts on the environment... so we must active and vigil. The "Earth" Dog Year, according to the Chinese Zodiac, is calling upon us to be more "grounded on this Earth" in our resolve, communicative and responsible in our work for peace and justice for all.
Come to our Oshogatsu, take in the creative flavors. Savor in the artists presentations of poetry, song, storytelling and more. Let these sensations of the Heart inspire us with wisdom AND action into the coming year.

Neighborhood parking is possible but challenging so allow extra time (and bring walking shoes!). Look (online) for ones closest by walking distance near the corner of 21st Street and South Van Ness. We are also close to 24th Street BART.
