Estela x Tartine Manufactory: A dinner celebrating the food of Ignacio Mattos

Chef Christa Chase and Tartine Manufactory are excited to welcome Chef Ignacio Mattos for a special one night collaboration cookbook dinner on Thursday, November 8th!
Ignacio was born in Uruguay and learned to cook in the kitchens of grilling master Francis Mallman, Judy Rogers, and Slow Food legend Alice Waters. He moved to New York City in 2006 to become the chef of the NoHo institution Il Buco. He then opened Isa in Williamsburg, where his adventurous cooking earned the restaurant a James Beard Award nomination for Best New Restaurant. Since Ignacio opened Estela, Cafe Altro Paradiso and Flora Bar, Ignacio has been nominated four times in the James Beard Awards’ Best Chefs category.

Christa and Igancio will offer a special selection of a la carte dishes to celebrate the occassion. Each eventbrite ticket includes one copy of Chef Mattos's critically acclaimed book  and a reservation for the party specified with your ticket purchase. Food and beverage will be available a la carte and charged the night of the event. Additional books will also be available for purchase the night of the event.
