Author Eric Schlosser comes to the Henry Miller Memorial Library to sign and present his newest release, Command and Control, a book that explores the dilemma that has existed since the dawn of the nuclear age: how do you deploy weapons of mass destruction without being destroyed by them? Eric will display images never before seen using our big screen, talk about accidents, near-misses, extraordinary heroism, and technological breakthroughs. his presentation will be followed by a screening of Stanley Kubrick's classic black comedy, Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
