Equity, Criminal Justice & Overcoming Adversity
Breakfast Networking and Speaker Series
US District Court Judge Nunley is a staunch advocate for children, especially the most vulnerable. He brings rich personal experience to his judicial role; he grew up in the Hunter’s Point neighborhood of San Francisco with a single mother, ultimately rising to one of the highest positions an American lawyer can occupy.
Judge Nunley will share his observations on equity in the criminal justice system, and how it relates to early adversity and trauma.
Hanna Institute's 2017 breakfast networking and speaker series highlights issues facing Sonoma County youth, families and communities today, and provides a forum to discuss and collaborate on practical solutions.
