WHAT: Please join us for EPIC Steak’s 9th annual High on the Hog on Saturday, June 17 from 1-4 p.m. for an afternoon of Pinot Noir tasting and pork-centric gourmet eats on the restaurant’s bayside patio. Located on the picturesque San Francisco waterfront, EPIC Steak provides a premier location for an afternoon of delicious food, good company, fun in the sun, and Pinot Noir.
This much-anticipated event will celebrate great food and wine as the Bayfront restaurant and its Executive Chef Parke Ulrich welcome a variety of esteemed local wineries and fellow restaurants for an afternoon of Pinot Noir tasting and delicious pork-centric bites.
EPIC Steak’s Wine Director Petra Polakovicova has put together a fantastic line-up of award-winning wineries that will be on hand to pour their delightful Pinot Noirs including: Blue Farm, Cobb, Copain, Donum, DuMol, En Route, Ernest Vineyards, Freeman, Freestone by Joseph Phelps, Long Meadow Ranch Anderson Valley, Lost & Found, Masút, Nicolas Jay, Patz & Hall, Penner Ashe, Porter Creek, Sandhi, Three Sticks, Twomey, and Willakenzie.
Participating Bay Area restaurants include: Baby Blues BBQ, Black Bark BBQ, The Whole Beast, Waterbar, and Wood Tavern.
In addition, the event will feature craft beer tastings from Anchor Brewing and Barebottle Brewing, which will be pouring EPIC Steak’s new proprietary house beer EPIC Proportions.
Tickets are $75 per person and are available for purchase via EPIC Steak’s website. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind, an industry-leading guide dog school.
