On Saturday, January 25th, Endzeit and Direct to Earth will join forces to present techno luminary, club culture champion, world-renowned DVS1. It's difficult to summarize Zak's impact on the global electronic music scene - from his relentless efforts in community organization, platforming independent events over big festivals & the corporatization of music; to his focus on pristine sound ("the soundsystem should be the headliner") and the rightful aversion towards DJ/entertainer figures and social media excesses; through championing music producers via his pioneering Aslice initiative; and finally, his own musical output through labels such as Klockworks, Ostgut Ton, and his very own HUSH: for all these reasons, and many more, DVS1 represents more than a DJ booking - he stands as a foundational figure for independent electronic music worldwide.
