WORLDWIDE ENDOMARCH – SAN FRANCISCO
Please join us for the 5th Annual Worldwide EndoMarch – Team San Francisco - taking place at San Francisco City Hall on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 2 pm, PST. The event is free and open to all.
MILLIONS CONTINUE TO SUFFER AS DEVASTATING DISEASE STILL LARGELY IGNOREDDespite the millions of women and girls around the world who live in unbearable anguish, endometriosis continues to be one of the most urgent yet ignored public health issues of our time. Hundreds of years from now, future generations will look back with utter disbelief that such profound suffering could have been ignored for so long by so many. This is why we march, to get the word out that endometriosis is not just a ‘bad period’, but one of the most serious, potentially incapacitating chronic diseases women and girls can face in their lifetimes.
Let’s be the generation that ends this nightmare once and for all. Join the fight to end the silence about endometriosis.
200 MILLION WOMEN & GIRLS DESERVE BETTERWe march because we will no longer be shamed into silence. We march because 10-year diagnostic delays are not acceptable. We march because having to see 20+ doctors before getting a correct diagnosis is not okay. We march because one of the most painful conditions on record is not just a 'bad period'. We march because 4,000 years of mistreatment & misunderstanding is long enough.
We march because 200 million women and girls (1 in 10) deserve better. TIME IS UP. SOMETHING MUST CHANGE.
