This Open Mic event provides a space for performances celebrating the voices of women of color that enact and highlight the beauty of our cultural diversity.

We welcome all who experience life through the lens of womxn in body, spirit, identity - past, present, future, and fluid.
Performers will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.
Each performance will be limited to 5 minutes.
La Peña Cultural Center provides up to 2 vocal mics, 2 instrument mics, an AUX cable and an extension chord (to connect small amps. etc). We do not offer any other technical assistance.
Disclaimer: Due to a large amount of inquiries to perform, you will be notified at least one week (usually more) before the performance date if you are assigned a slot.
