Over his thirty-year career Frank Loesser wrote such musical standards as “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “Let’s Get Lost,” “Heart and Soul,” and “On a Slow Boat to China.” He wrote both the music and lyrics to some of the most well-known musicals of all time, including Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, winning Tony Awards for both shows (as well as the Pulitzer Prize for How to Succeed). He also received an Academy Award for "Baby, It's Cold Outside," and Tony nominations for Where’s Charley?, The Most Happy Fella, and Greenwillow.
