The History of Dublin Whiskey with Teeling Global Brand Ambassador Robert Caldwell
WHAT: An informational guided tasting of Teeling Irish Whiskey. The Teeling family is steeped in Irish whiskey history, producing a great number of the whiskies most people know under other brand names. Since launching the Teeling Distillery within the city limits of Dublin, the company has lead the new wave of Irish whiskey developments with continual releases of the highest quality.
Elixir California Whiskey Week is a precursor to Whiskyfest San Francisco on November 2nd. Check it out here.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 30th, 7pm-9pm (Come to the bar early, have a beer and relax until we start.)
Overview
Come join Teeling Global Brand Ambassador Robert Caldwell for an evening of Irish whiskey and history. Robert will be explaining the background of Irish whiskey, in particular Dublin whiskey. The Teeling distillery is based in the heart of Dublin city, Robert will be pouring the core three expressions known as the Trinity, consisting of a blend, single grain & single malt. Teeling prides itself on being a craft urban distillery, that is innovative through the unique maturation processes its uses. Robert will also be sampling some rare bottlings not available in the US that we are currently producing in Ireland.

yes, you must be 21 or older
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
16th Street BART Station, walk 2 blocks WEST from there on 16th.
#22 Bus
street parking is tough on Thursdays. There's a garage on Huff St.
What can I bring into the event?
Drinks purchased at the bar. Food can be ordered in (try Caviar.com) and eaten in the bar, but please don't bring dinner into the session.
