What: A guided tasting of the Bruichladdich range of single malt whiskies lead by West Coast Single Malt Ambassador Trent Simpson
When: Thursday, June 15th, 8pm-9:30pm (Come to the bar early, have a beer and relax until we start. Trent will be pouring tastes and talking to the crowd.)
Come for an evening of exploring the diverse line Single Malt Scotch Whisky that Bruichladdich offers in a special class led by West Coast Single Malt Ambassador Trent Simpson. Trent will guide you on a tasting voyage from unpeated expressions like the Classic Laddie and 2009 Islay Barley, to heavily Peated Port Charlotte and even the most heavily peated Single Malt in the world, Octomore. Don’t even know what “peat” is? That’s ok! Are you a whisky nerd? That’s ok too! This class will be a fun dynamic session to explore a range of flavor, discover the roots and history of Single Malt via the Bruichladdich distillery, explore flavor and provenance of where the whisky and its ingredients come from, and taste a fair amount of good Single Malt. This class is perfect for the novice or Single Malt enthusiast, come one, come all!
