Tigran is a San Francisco Bay Area based electronic music dj. He started djing at the end of 2008 when he realized a boom in the population of J1 International students in San Francisco. Having a vast knowledge of world music due to his frequent moving across the eastern world in his younger years, he quickly learned the technical aspect of djing and started gaining momentum, energy and attention in San Francisco’s diverse international scene. After 10 succeseful events filled with world music, Tigran caught the attention of Sacramento hot-spot Lounge on 20 and was invited to perform in the State’s Capitol for a night dedicated to him.
Falling in love with house music, and realizing that there is a large, hungry market for it in San Francisco, Tigran decided to shift from International and dive into the house music scene. Having gained a solid following of fans and friends, Tigran began performing at numerous venues across the Bay Area, gaining momentum from each. Soon he caught the attention of multiple promoters and started taking part in larger events, while putting his twist on popular underground and mainstream club tracks to deferentiate himself from the rest.
While building relationships with promoters, Tigran has also worked closely with owners and nightclubs directly. He specializes in electro house, progressive, underground, tech and one of his favorites – dutch house music. Some venues which Tigran has performed at include Manor West, Roe, Morac, Rouge, Marrakesh, Cellar, Playhouse, Icon, Risque, Harlot, Slide, Temple (main stage) The Grand and Vessel. He has also performed on 99.7FM Housenation. Tigran’s unique nostalgic style, mixed with his knowledge and love of current club hits sets him apart from the rest.
