Eddie Huang, whose best-selling memoir Fresh Off the Boat was adapted into a hit show by ABC, has found success in a dizzying variety of fields. He is an author, actor, lawyer, chef, designer, restaurateur, TV show host, and film director. After law school, Huang found success as a comic in New York, while also designing a clothing line and running a popular food blog. Soon, he opened his first restaurant BaoHaus to rave reviews. Huang began making guest appearances on numerous TV cooking shows, eventually hosting his own shows on Viceland, MTV, and the Cooking Channel. Huang has written two memoirs, Fresh Off the Boat and Double Cup of Love. Now, he is publishing his debut novel Come Undone, a subversively funny and deeply romantic story of a very bro-ey Asian American man's search for true love. Huang weaves satire with romantic comedy, and builds a fresh, sensitive portrayal of life for Asian Americans.
"Come for the satirical millennial cringe and over-the-top luxury lifestyle fantasy, stay for the surprisingly sensitive portrayal of a bombastic, bighearted Asian American dudebro who risks it all for a chance at the real thing: true love! Exuberantly horny and--believe it or not--absolutely romantic."--Jean Chen Ho, author of Fiona and Jane.
