Easter Sunday Celebration at Homestead in Oakland
On Easter Sunday, April 16, Homestead in Oakland will be open from 4:30 to 8:30 PM offering a $65.00 three-course prix fixe menu served family style featuring Spring Greens with Boont Corners aged goat cheese, sourdough croutons and rhubarb vinaigrette; Lamb roasted in the fireplace with potato and pecorino gratin, baby carrots, pea tendrils, spiced pistachio and preserved lemon; and Funfetti Ice Cream Cake with whipped cream and strawberries (April 16 happens to be the first birthday of the co-owner's daughter and in the spirit of the occasion, the evening's dessert is a birthday cake). To accompany this, a carafe of house wine (red or white) will be available for an additional $26.00. There will also be a vegetarian option and a children's half-price/half portion menu. All prices include service; no tipping is ever necessary at Homestead.
