Be part of a huge beach cleanup effort in honor of Earth Day. Join the official Net Impact San Francisco Professional Chapter's beach cleanup (organized by the Pacific Beach Coalition) as we come together to network and clean up our beautiful California coast. Spend your Saturday morning with a fun group of volunteers who care about social impact and the environment.
For the 15th year in a row, Pacific Beach Coalition is organizing beach and neighborhood cleanups from Daly City to Half Moon Bay from 9-11am and then hosting a large EcoFest at Linda Mar State Beach with food, fun, music, eco-booths, hands on kids activities and environmental speakers from 11am – 2.30pm.
Last year, 9,198 volunteers removed nearly 3,588 of trash, 768 of recycles, and 14,873 cigarette filters.
Fort Funston is one of the most beautiful and dog friendly beaches in San Francisco. The cleanup is from 9 to 11am so we highly recommend dressing in layers! It's an event for the whole family, so feel free to bring your kids to help, and educate them about how we can all work together to keep our natural environment clean.
