A drinking-infused (non-alcoholic welcomed) video game (casual, multiplayer) tournament with a $200 CASH prize. Audience member teams (and special CELEBRITY guests) compete and showboat in a tournament of champions featuring a variety of game genres, each with their own unique drinking rules. Whether you're the best cheerleader or best gamer, anybody can win, everyone is welcome.
How it works:
Gaming Points: Whether you’re great at one game or all games, you can assemble a team of friends (four-to-six per team) to play a variety of games, each game with unique Drinking (ja)Rules. The better your team (or representatives of your team) plays, the more points earned.
Spirit Points: If you’re not good at video games? You can still win! While the games are being played, members of your team can still earn points by cheering, showboating, showing sportsmanship and a variety of secret-menu actions. Additionally, themed costumes, funniest group name and creative chants are awarded points. Teams have made it to the finals of Drunkathalon by in large part by having the most fun, so it pays—literally—to be enthusiastic
