May 6, 11am-3pm, May 13, 11am-3pm
Every first and second Sunday and select school holidays from 11am-3pm, families can experience a new adventure in art-making free with admission to The Contemporary Jewish Museum. As always, the hands-on fun inspires children to learn more about the exhibitions on display in the galleries, the building's architecture, or holidays and traditions while experimenting with materials and art techniques.
Inspired by the exhibition The Art of Rube Goldberg, design a machine that "helps" you do something in your daily routine. Use a combination of metal gears, clock parts, and drawing supplies to complete your design.
