Drone Challenge: Engineering Foundations

Class runs from December 15, 2025 to January 16, 2026
Class Days: Monday-Friday (20 class sessions)

Class Time: 9:30am-4:30pm

No class on 12/24/25, 12/25/25, 12/26/25 and 12/31/25 and 1/1/26

Tuition: $1,500

Open to students 15 - 25 years of age



This course is designed to prepare students for future careers in aerospace and technology. Participants will build foundational skills in CAD modeling, engineering design, and embedded systems. Through a series of guided projects, they will apply these concepts and learn how to connect mechanical design with coding, electronics, and AI. By the end of the program, participants will have a valuable addition to their resume that highlights their technical skills. The teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills they learn will be invaluable when starting their career.

The course will finish with a design challenge to build an object-tracking drone. Students will create their own designs and integrate electronics and sensors. They will work with code-repositories and learn how to use AI in conjunction with coding.

Class limited to 15 participants

Entry level class (no prerequisites required) Computers and materials will be provided
