The International Language and Culture Foundation (ILCF) hosts its 27th annual meeting. This years keynote speaker is Dr. Betty L. Leaver, Ph.D., Provost of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Leaver speaks on Myths and Assumptions about Language Learning. Having spent a considerable amount of time working in the Soviet Union, Leaver has studied 20 languages and earned her Ph.D. in applied linguistics from the Pushkin Institutes in Moscow.
