The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District's Dogtoberfest returns for its third year! Bring your canine companion and celebrate everything great about dogs! We will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for Most Dogs Wearing a Bandana -- so be sure to bring your friends who have dogs, and they all get a free bandana! The event will also feature dog rescue groups, dog services vendors and pet contests including Pet & Owner Look-alike Contest. Enjoy demonstrations from sheep dogs, Disc Dogs of the Golden Gate and Livermore Police K-9. There will be hot dogs of course, sausages, pretzels, along with Wood Family wine and Shadow Puppet brew. The first 100 dogs receive a free rabies vaccination thanks to Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center and Urgent Care.
