Join Silicon Valley Reads as they present a screening of Wartorn 1861-2010 at the Tully Community Branch Library. This HBO documentary examines the long-lasting effects of combat stress reaction and post-traumatic stress disorder on military personnel and their families throughout American history, from the Civil War through the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The film features the personal stories of soldiers through letters and journals, photos and combat footage, and first-person interviews of veterans of WWII, the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
