at Evergreen Library (see times)
Silicon Valley Reads presents a screening of the documentary, Alive Day Memories, at the Evergreen Branch Library. The film follows actor James Gandolfini as he interviews ten soldiers and Marines about their feelings on their future, their physical and psychological disabilities, and their devotion to America. It also sheds light on the physical and emotional costs of war through memories of their "alive day," the day they narrowly escaped death in Iraq.
