All University of San Francisco, School of Nursing and Health Professions Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students must implement an evidence-based project designed to improve practice. The project is guided by their faculty DNP Committee Chairperson and Committee and demonstrates their ability to apply the principles of evidence-based practice, through problem identification, project development and proposal, and the implementation and evaluation of practice, quality/process or systems improvements.
Students must present their project in order to graduate.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
PARKING
If you secure street parking, please be sure to note all parking enforcement signage to avoid ticketing and/or towing. A parking permit is required for all campus parking lots. Guests and visitors may purchase daily permits (as available) at the Lone Mountain campus visitor entrance or the Main Gate kiosk. For more information, click HERE.

TRANSIT
USF is centrally located in San Francisco with various public transportation options. The subway system, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) covers most of the Bay Area, providing quick access to the East Bay, the Peninsula, the airport, and other important destinations.
The closest BART stop to USF is Civic Center. The Muni routes closest to USF include the #5 Fulton, #38 Geary, #31 Balboa, and #43 Masonic. Specific directions around San Francisco and the Bay Area using public transit are easy to find, using tools like Trip Planner and Google Maps.
