Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Public Presentation- Genoveffa Devers

All University of San Francisco, School of Nursing and Health Professions Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students must implement an evidence-based project designed to improve practice. The project is guided by their faculty DNP Committee Chairperson and Committee and demonstrates their ability to apply the principles of evidence-based practice, through problem identification, project development and proposal, and the implementation and evaluation of practice, quality/process or systems improvements.
Students must present their project in order to graduate.

You are cordially invited to attend Genoveffa Devers's Public Presentation, where she will present the following: 
Project Title: On-Line Simulation in Clinical End-User Training
Project Description: The AAMI Foundation, The Join Commission and ECRI have identified lack of effective clinical end-user training when implemeneting complex medical technology as a concern. Using adult learning principal experiential learning and the NLN Jefferis Simulation Theory I will present; Incorporating on-line simulation into clinical end-user training when implementing complex medical technology.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? 
-The Marker is located at 501 Geary Street between Shannon Street and Taylor Street (two (2) blocks from San Francisco's Union Square).
-For Public Transportation: The nearest BART train station is on Powell Street (@5th and Market Street, eight-minute walk). The MUNI bus stops on O'Farrell Street (one block below Geary Street)
-Valet parking is available at The Marker:

$10.00/hour, $55.00 maximum (tax included)
Bellman will issue a salmon-colored valet ticket
