Ever wonder why a tiger has stripes and a lobster has claws? Or, do you think giraffes would be even cooler with wings?If so, come join us for "Discover Your Wild Thing", a choose your own adventure where you will evolve your own beast by selecting which features to adapt and survive in nature!As each participant moves through the park, the world will change around them. How will your animal survive the cold of an ice age or escape the rising waters of a flood? Do you want to be like a gazelle that munches on grassy plains or a cheetah at the top of the food chain? No matter what you choose, the only limit is your imagination.The event will be held at Mission Creek Park on July 28, from 10am to 1pm. You can enter from 4th Street, Channel Street, or by the Pavilion. Where you start is your first choice - choose your adventure wisely!
This is a free event, but registration is required. Please register each child who will participate in the activity. All children must be accompanied by adults.
