The Pacific Alliance, established in 2011, is an initiative of regional integration comprised by Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. It aims to build in a participatory and fair way partnerships that encourage the free mobility of goods, services, resources and people. By doing so the member states of the Alliance hope to further the growth, development and competitiveness of the economies of its members. Already the Pacific Alliance has removed 92% of tariffs on goods traded between members and the remaining tariffs will be removed by 2020.
The San Francisco based Consuls General from Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru will join us for an in-depth discussion on the Pacific Alliance and the impact it's made as well as other regional issues.
