Hosted by Jesse Hawthorne Ficks, this very special 35th Anniversary of one of the most exciting Christmas movies of all time, will be presented in a beautiful 35mm print. Bring the whole family out to cheer New York City Detective John McClane (performed with guts and gusto by the almighty Bruce Willis) as he attempts to save Los Angeles from one of cinema's most memorable baddies, Hans Gruber, portrayed in true Shakespearian fashion by the late, great Alan Rickman.)

Admission also includes a very special raffle of 1980s Action Movie prizes, a live pre-show performance by David Hegarty on the Castro organ and attendees will receive limited edition, handmade screen prints designed by Sofí Caldas (first come, first served!)

Children under age 17 requires an accompanying parent or guardian (age 21 or older) to attend R rated performances.

In this pumped-up, high tech surprise hit of 1988, a triumph of slick direction and lowbrow thrills, NYPD officer John McClane is in Los Angeles with his estranged wife and kids for the Christmas holidays, when she and her co-workers are taken hostage by a Hans Gruber and his group of well-armed thieves in an imposing state-of-the-art new office building in Century City. Now it is up to the resourceful and fearless McClane to save the hostages, bring down Gruber, and reconcile with his wife.
