Napa, CA (April 12, 2023) - Join di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art for a festival celebrating art and nature! di Rosa Day: Spring Fever is Saturday, May 6, 11am - 4pm. Activities will include art stations, live music, food, beverages, artist talks, and performances. All event proceeds go to support di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, a 501c3 non-profit arts organization in Napa.
The day features the opening of Natural Discourse, an exhibition of site-specific outdoor installations, with a talk by guest curator Shirley Watts. Art-making activities include mask making and photography with artist Michael Garlington (Totem di Rosa), building and flying kites with artist Jasmine Zhang, painting and planting mini personal dye gardens, face painting, games, eye spy, and bird bingo! Music will be performed by Slippery People, with a DJ set by Peter Davies. Food trucks include La Casa del Taco, Squeeze Inn Hamburgers, and Valley Boba. Beverage sponsors include Saintsbury, Groove Wines, The Prisoner Wine Co, Winery Sixteen 600, WineSociety, Lagunitas, and Valley of the Moon Kombucha.
"Our team is pumped for this year's di Rosa Day: Spring Fever," says di Rosa Director of Education and Civic Engagement Andrea Saenz. "What better way to support the arts and celebrate nature than with a day of super fun outdoor activities, great music, fab food and drinks, plus friends new and familiar?"
Tickets are $50 for general admission, $40 members, and $20 minors (ages 3-20). General and member admission for ages 21+ includes two drink tickets for beer and wine.
