Desi Comedy Fest is the largest annual South Asian comedy festival in America featuring the funniest South Asian comedians from around the globe.
Now in its 4th year, the 2017 edition presents 40 comedians of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan descent. We also have comedians from various minority groups and the LGBTQ community. The comedians are raw, hilarious and some of the best in the business. The comedians this year come from all over USA, Canada, South Africa and India, and have been on Comedy Central, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan and The Late show on Letterman.
Day 8 of 11 will be at the classy Kuumbwa Jazz Center in the Beach town of Santa Cruz.
Kuumbwa is a Swahili word meaning "an act of spontaneous creativity".
With 200 seats and no sight line issues, all seats have an excellent view of the stage.
