A Holiday Celebration!
ENTERTAINMENT: The “Antioch Strings” is a unique youth orchestra which was started by Mrs. Betty Lawrence in 1984 as a way for students to have an opportunity to excel in Music beyond what the schools had to offer. Betty retired from teaching in 1987 and has been leading the Strollers ever since. Today Katy Lawrence -Burchett, Betty's daughter, outstanding musician and teacher, leads the group with Betty's continued assistance. They have traveled the world playing music.
Please wear festive holiday attire. Hats encouraged.Toys for Tots with the Marines(Please NO stuffed animals due to health hazards. Please have unwrapped toys or make checks to “Toys for Tots.”
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS must be prepaid and postmarked on or before December 3rd. If you have any questions regarding seating or questions regarding payment, please call LInda Stoppoloni at 650-588-2372.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any cancellations, changes or additions after Tuesday at NOON, prior to the luncheon will NOT be honored as reservations are closed. NO EXCEPTIONS! Nor will any reimburse-ment of funds be made after that time. You must send in either a check or free lunch raffle prize certificate, even if your hostess knows you are attending.
RAFFLE: Members who have surnames beginning with Qaa–Zzz are encouraged to contribute raffle prizes for the November luncheon. We will gladly accept raffle prizes from any member who wishes to contribute, however. Remember, it is the raffle that brings in the revenue which keeps our Club thriving. .
