Become a Mixologist: In our class we teach you how to make excellent cocktails at home. We do not teach you how to be a bartender. You learn how to make superb cocktails at home using ingredients that you can readily buy at the grocery store. You come away from our class with the essential mixology skills needed to dramatically improve your next cocktail party.
Make Your Own Cocktails in a Real Bar: Our class is hands-on. First, we present a brief, not-entirely-factual History of the Cocktail, where you drink through history. After that, you will be stirring and shaking up your own cocktails. And you get to taste your creations along the way.
Master the Craft Cocktail: We demystify the cocktail by showing you the core techniques you need to know in order to make excellent cocktails from any recipe. Once you master these, you will be able to make great cocktails with whatever you happen to have on hand.
Set Up Your Home Bar: You’ll go home from this class knowing how to outfit your own bar with the essential tools needed for making any cocktail.
Have Fun! Our cocktial workshops are perfect for a fun date, an outing with friends, or a great excuse to do a little day drinking. All in the name of education, of course. We have thoughtfully scheduled it so that it does not interfere with cocktail hour, evening dinner engagements, or even a Netflix soirée.
About Paul & Dave’s Mixed Drinks
We have been teaching people the basics of mixology in San Francisco since 2012. We do this because we firmly believe that everyone should know how to make great cocktails. After all, knowing how to make the perfect daiquiri or Old Fashioned is a critically important life skill. We’re locally based here along the eastern waterfront and are committed to our city: we brought you San Francisco’s first 0.5k race, a successful fundraiser for Open Door Legal.
