David Cobb comes to Wave Street Studios to give a lecture entitled "End Corporate Personhood, Legalize Democracy." In Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, the Supreme Court ruled that corporations are persons, entitled by the U.S. Constitution to buy elections and run our government. David Cobb, a spokesperson for Move to Amend and the 2004 Green Party presidential candidate, challenges this decision in his lecture which affirms that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights.
