Data Science and beyond: Technical, economic and societal challenges — analysing data from 360° degree perspective: images, text, and numerical data
We will organize an event with several talks and a panel discussion on the emerging field of Data Science. The goal is to discuss the topic from a wide range of perspectives including technological, economical and societal challenges. Keynote speakers will present various international views on the topic and address the impact of the new EU data protection regulation on data science activities. International representatives of both academia and industry will contribute a holistic view to the panel discussion based on data of various forms, such as images, text and numeric data. The event will be “sweetened” by a traditional Swiss apero.
