SEE EVENT DETAILS
Sept. 17, 5pm Pacific

Danzacuentos: Voz, Cuerpo y Raices (Dance Stories: Voice, Body and Roots) is an online exhibit featuring bilingual interviews with Latin American and Indigenous dance makers. Offered both in Spanish and English, the exhibit offers portraits of Snowflake Calvert (formerly Snowflake Towers), sisters Dulce and Marianna Escobedo, Cinthia Perez Navarro and Lyvan Verdecia.

On September 17 at 5pm PT, the first live event around the exhibit will be streamed online. It's a panel discussion featuring the participating artists in conversation with Mario Ismael Espinoza, David Herrera and Karla Quintero, three leaders in dance who have teamed up to expand public awareness around the diversity of experiences, identities and challenges that exist among artists with Latin American and Indigenous heritage.

Language interpretation in English and Spanish will be offered at the panel discussion, and tickets are $0 - $50 on a sliding scale.
