Dance and Drum Workshop Series for Youth and Adults
at BlackBox Studios Oakland
(10pm - 1pm)
Join us for our special 4-class workshop series that fosters appreciation for diverse arts and traditions while creating a space for creative expression and cultural learning. The sessions will be held on Sundays at Black Box Studios in Oakland!
Workshop Series includes 2 dance classes & 2 Drumming lessons:
April 13 & April 20 | Bhangra / Bollywood dance with Joti
April 27 & May 11 | West African Drum with Bongo
Times:
10-10:40am 6-8 year olds
10:45-11:30am 9-12 year olds
11:45am-1pm Teens and adults
Your Instructors
This workshop series is led by Joti Singh and Bongo Sidibe, the Artistic Directors of Duniya Dance and Drum Company. They bring years of expertise and passion to each class, creating an engaging environment for learners of all ages.
Registration Details:
Workshop cost: $80 for all 4 classes or $25 per drop-in
Kids drums available at no cost during class
Adults can rent drums for $5/class!
