¿Donde Esta Mi Gente? is a Latinx Literary Performance Series. Experience dynamic high energy poetry, comedy and music by artists of Latin American descent. Our performers are normally poets, writers, novelists, musicians, and stand up comedians. DEMG was created by Baruch Porras-Hernandez.

Featuring -
Luna Merbruja - artist is a Mexican-Athabaskan writer and artist. They're the author of Trauma Queen and the poetry book Heal Your Love. They have been published in the anthologies Nerve Endings: The New Trans Erotic, Resilience, and the 2nd edition of Colonize This! Currently, Merbruja is the Board Chair of Heartspark Press and a project advisor for "Mirror Memoirs".

Jaime Cortez is a writer, visual artist, organizer and curator based in Northern California. His fiction, essays, and drawings have appeared in diverse publications. He's been featured in literary shows, storytelling shows, and performance art projects all over California.

Azuah's music weaves roots in alternative folk and soul with a poet's sensibility and an unforgettable voice to create an infectious sound all her own. A Bay Area native, she has played all over the West Coast from the Roxy in Los Angeles to stages in Oakland and San Francisco. Known for her evocative lyrics and haunting melodies, Azuah captures the listener's ear from first note to last strum with a sound that can only come from the depths of an old soul.

Baruch Porras-Hernandez is the author of two chapbooks from Sibling Rivalry Press. He is a two time winner of Literary Death Match, a Lambda Literary Fellow in Poetry, and Playwriting, has been part of the legendary Sister Spit Tour with Radar Productions, and regularly hosts shows with KQED. He was born in Toluca - Mexico, is the founder of ¿Donde Esta Mi Gente? and lives in San Francisco.
