Part of the JCCSF Foodways series, Chef Crystal Wahpepah, the first Native American chef to be featured on “Chopped,” welcomes guests for an intimate multi-course meal featuring dishes from her childhood and ingredients that hold meaning to her culture’s history and people. Through conversation and storytelling, explore what it means to be an Indigenous chef in the Bay Area. The Foodways series explores the hidden histories of the diverse communities that have left their mark on the Bay Area’s vibrant culinary scene.
