Art Changes Lives is an annual event benefiting Creativity Explored* and this year is also a celebration of the organization's 35th anniversary! ACL's festivities of a three-course dinner, drinks, and live auction featuring original art work and special packages will take place in the scene-stealing City View at Metreon venue on April 20. This year, this fabulous evening will also introduce the new COLOR MIXER ticket option. At this two-hour preview event, guests will enjoy interactive art activities, a live jazz band, a curated silent auction, the option to "Win a Wine Cellar," and delicious drinks and bites provided by Bi-Rite Market.
The selection of original auction artworks include a pair of Eames molded plastic side chairs with dowel base painted by Jay Herndon, a collage of 93 individual folk portraits of CE artists and staff, and over 50 other works of art in all sizes and media. Attendees can also bid on several behind-the-scenes art experiences and purchase limited-edition t-shirts and prints by CE artists.
COLOR MIXER is 5:00 pm to 7:00pm ($75 per person). Dinner and live auction will be held from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm ($250 per person). Tables for ten are available starting at $2,750. Limited sponsorship opportunities are still available. If you're interested in securing your place with an individual or corporate sponsorship, please contact Linda Johnson at 415-863-2108 or

*Art Changes Lives directly supports Creativity Explored's mission to give artists with developmental disabilities the means to create and share their work with the community, celebrating the power of art to change lives. Thanks to the proceeds of this event, Creativity Explored is able to support the careers of 130 artists with disabilities working in our two San Francisco studios and show their work in our gallery and in venues across the world.
