Creative Resilience: Discovering Ways to Improve Your Well-Being

SEE EVENT DETAILS
With all the chaos and trauma happening in the world around us we believe that focusing on the positive is important. Creative resilience is about making positive choices in your life especially in difficult times.
We all have the power within us to make positive changes. This 5-hour workshop will introduce various mind-body approaches introducing acrylic painting instruction depicting chaos and order, meditation/mindfulness exercises, and yoga and dance movement. Bringing these activities together is a way to enhance our natural and inate capacity to understand ourselves and improve our own health and well-being.
You'll expand your creativity through these tools to work with the body as well as the mind to reduce fatigue, build resilience from everyday life, and practice self-care.
Class Limit: 16 -- Minimum Enrollment: 10
Before November 1st: The workshop will not run unless we have the minimum enrollment number
*You will need to bring a yoga mat and towel for yoga/dance movement
*Wear comfortable clothes for yoga/dance and bring a shirt for wearing while you paint
*A light lunch will be provided; email the organizer if you have any dietary constraints
