As designers or entrepreneurs, we want to get people using and converting to our products quickly. We search for the best possible way to convert users, only to realize that it is not a long-term solution, and that the solution to conversion was right in the user's data.

About the speaker:
Joel Lopez:
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Joel started making websites since at 13. Joel graduated from The Art Institute with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interactive Media Design, where he focused on user-centered design. He has been making web products for over 10 years which has given him the opportunity to learn about usability, SEO, conversion, and development. Currently, he works as a freelance Product Designer in the Bay Area, with his company TypeFaster{Joel} and has a company called Gamer's Hive, an online platform that brings gamers together. He loves traveling the world and learning about other cultures as well as video games.
