She was honored by Newsweek as one of the “Women Shaping the 21st Century,†and has received 50 awards and distinctions including the “Disruptive Innovation Award†from the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. Connected, as well as her other two latest films, premiered at Sundance. She is currently working on a collaborative film series called Cloud Filmmaking.
