Connected: An Autoblogography about Love, Death, & Technology

SEE EVENT DETAILS
This film explores what it means to be connected in the 21st century. Using a brilliant mix of animation, archival footage, and home movies, Tiffany Shlain reveals the surprising ties that link us not only to the people we love but also to the world at large.

The screening will be followed by Q & A with Acclaimed Filmmaker and Founder of the Webby Awards Tiffany Shlain, who is known for her ability to illuminate complex ideas in culture, science, technology and life. She was honored by Newsweek as one of the “Women Shaping the 21st Century,” and has received 50 awards and distinctions including the “Disruptive Innovation Award” from the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. Connected, as well as her other two latest films, premiered at Sundance. She is currently working on a collaborative film series called Cloud Filmmaking.

This event is free and open to everyone. Free parking is available in lots #4 and #5. This event is organized by the WVC Global Citizenship Committee and is funded by the SB70 Global Entrepreneurship grant.
